Confined Space Safety (CSS)

About the Training

This course is specially designed to provide knowledge and skill on all safe work procedures for entering the confined space. An appropriate training is extremely important to working safely in confined spaces therefore this course will emphasize on the potential hazard in a confine space, its safety procedures and uses of gas detector besides self contained breathing apparatus. Training also includes the rescue of confined space.

Program Objectives / Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the hazards of confined space
  • Familiarize with use of hazardous gas detectors
  • Identify resources available for rescue operation
  • Familiarize and follow the DOSH Code of Practice for Safe Working in a Confined Space

Upon completion of the course, your organization will be:

  • Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and the regulations made there under to create a safe and healthy workplace
