About the FSM & FSO Framework
The Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Fire Safety Officer (FSO) framework is Malaysia’s upcoming national initiative to enhance fire safety governance in workplaces and high-occupancy buildings.
The framework aims to ensure every premise is guided by certified professionals who are trained to plan, lead, and manage fire safety systems effectively.
While the official provider list and implementation details are still being finalised, ASEC is preparing to support this national initiative through recognised training and advisory services.
