This is a staged instructor development programme. Participants progress through each stage before they are approved to conduct internal First Aid learning sessions.
Typical completion
Around 6 months, depending on participant progress, classroom schedule and observed teaching arrangement.
Learning mode
Online learning through portal, followed by in person classroom sessions at ASEC.
Stage progression
Participants must complete the required learning activities and assessments before moving to the next stage.
Classroom sessions
Includes two 3 day in person classroom stages at ASEC for instructor training, practice and assessment.
Observed co teaching
After the learning stages, participants complete an observed demo or co teaching session before final approval.
Approved internal sessions
Approved instructors may support internal First Aid learning sessions, subject to ASEC guidelines and material control process.
Learning materials
