Why It Matters

Disaster Readiness Depends on Practice, Not Assumption

In healthcare and public emergency settings, a disaster response plan must be tested through realistic drills. These exercises help teams understand their roles, improve coordination and identify gaps before a real incident happens.

01

Testing Response Coordination

A disaster drill helps different agencies and teams practise how they communicate, coordinate and respond under pressure.

02

Strengthening Triage Flow

Field triage is critical in a disaster situation, especially when multiple casualties require quick assessment and prioritisation.

03

Improving Emergency Readiness

Realistic simulation allows responders to review what works, what needs improvement and how teams can respond more effectively.

ASEC Commitment

Strengthening Readiness Before Real Emergencies Happen

ASEC believes that emergency readiness is built through practice, coordination and continuous learning. Participation in exercises like the Hospital Ampang Disaster Drill reflects our commitment to supporting safer, better prepared organisations and communities.

Through practical training and real-world emergency response learning, we continue to work towards our vision: one day, no one shall die in an accident.
